Buchart Horn is pleased to welcome Scott Holmes, PE to our Water Resources Group in our Marlton, NJ office as a Senior Environmental Engineer. Scott attained his BS in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University and his MBA in Project Management from Wright State University. He brings to his role over 30 years of progressive experience in the design, construction, and operation of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.
Scott was a civil engineer in the United States Air Force for over three years, where he served as First Lieutenant. His professional background includes over 25 years with the City of Dayton, Ohio, where he managed the Department of Water’s capital funds for utilities, supported operations of the Bureau of Design, and assisted with capital improvement projects. Scott subsequently worked for a global engineering consultancy, where he managed water resources construction and upgrades projects, proposal preparation, and construction administration.
Scott is a registered Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, and a member of the Water Environment Federation and the American Water Works Association. He looks forward to applying his extensive municipal experience and problem-solving skills to the successful completion of BH water resources projects.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys reading mystery/science fiction novels and spending time with his family in the greater Philadelphia area.
