BH is pleased to welcome Alexandra Weeks to our Transportation team in our Greater New Orleans, LA office as a Civil Engineer-in-Training. Alexandra attained her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Louisiana Lafayette, where she participated in several student groups and extracurricular programs. These included serving as president of Chi Epsilon Honor Society Student Chapter, treasurer of the American Society of Civil Engineers Student Chapter, and graduating in the university’s Engineering Ambassador and Designing Leaders programs. She is currently enrolled at the University of New Orleans, where she is pursuing her Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
Alexandra brings to her role at BH real-world experience working with engineers on various Louisiana Department of Transportation projects. During her engineering internship, Alex designed preliminary overlays of local highway and submitted plans in the New Orleans area. She is passionate about sustainable engineering and the environment, and aspires to get her PE in the future.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys creative pursuits such as paper mâché.
