Two BH Employees Earn Their PEs

The Buchart Horn team keeps getting stronger!

Two associates in our Greater New Orleans office recently passed the professional engineering exam and now hold the title of Licensed Professional Engineer.

Kristen A. Gahagan, PE has experience with a wide array of transportation engineering projects, including complete roadway and traffic design plan, specification, and estimate submittals and traffic engineering studies. She joined BH in Summer 2017 and has been a great asset working diligently on Stage 0 Feasibility Studies for LADOTD and street improvement projects in New Orleans and St. Tammany Parish. Kristen is the current President of the Women’s Transportation Seminar Louisiana Chapter, has civil engineering degree from Louisiana State University, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers – Baton Rouge and the Institute of Transportation Engineers – Deep South.

 

 

John S. Foley, PE has a civil engineering degree from Louisiana State University and has been with BH for more than 4 years. John has been on the project teams for a wide variety of transportation projects including: roundabouts, roadway rehabilitation, dock repair, rail system, shared-use path, Stage 0 Feasibility Studies, Environmental Inventory Reports, Environmental Assessments, and Environmental Impact Statements. His experience includes design plan preparation and detailing, typical section development, survey data processing, design quantity calculation, line and grade drawings for conceptual alternatives, constructability review, and cost estimation.

 

 

BH is very proud of the accomplishments of these young engineers and can’t wait to see where their careers take them. Congratulations, Kristen and John!
