Rob Palmay Earns Professional Engineer Designation

Robert J. Palmay, PE, a structural engineer in Buchart Horn, Inc.’s Marlton office, recently passed the New Jersey State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors examination and now holds the title of Professional Engineer.

Palmay has more than seven years of experience in bridge inspection and design, beginning his career as an intern at BH in May 2008. He plays a major role in writing technical proposals in addition to being Team Leader on a current NJDOT project. He has extensive experience in designing structural repairs, providing support for bridge design projects, and inspecting tunnels as a certified Tunnel Inspector.

“Rob is a bright Engineer, always eager to learn and help on projects where needed. He is interested in following BH’s PM career track and undoubtedly will grow into one of our outstanding Project Managers,” Jay Sabo, Buchart Horn’s Vice President – Northern Transportation Operations, said.

Palmay has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University. He lives in Marlton with his wife Ceren and their new puppy Lily. Palmay is also an accomplished musician having played in numerous bands and television shows and scoring movies and commercials.
