Ribbon-Cutting and Dedication Ceremony Held at New Springettsbury Township Fire Station

A ribbon-cutting event was part of dedication ceremonies for the new Springettsbury Township Fire Station. Designed by Buchart Horn, the 15,500-SF facility now houses the Springettsbury Township Volunteer Fire Company along with the York Area United Fire and Rescue headquarters. The building features a four-bay emergency vehicle section for fire trucks, ambulances, and other first responder vehicles along with equipment rooms, living quarters, a meeting room, and offices.

The new fire station is located on Commons Drive between East Market Street and Eastern Boulevard east of York.
