York, PA – Buchart Horn promoted W. Scott Loercher, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP to Associate Vice President of the firm’s Architectural Division. He will be responsible for developing and carrying out a strategy for growing and demonstrating the expertise of the division.
Loercher, who joined BH in 1995, has most recently served the company in the role of Principal and Director of Design. In that capacity, he was instrumental in working with design principals, ensuring every project under his direction adheres to the firm’s design philosophy. By providing this design leadership, he was able to instill in the design team that innovative and original design starts with keeping experimentation alive, and combining exceptional design with meaningful places where communities can thrive is of paramount importance.
“Scott has been a key part of the Architectural Division’s success, and I am pleased to watch him take this next step in his career. I’m confident Scott will continue to be one of our firm’s greatest assets as we challenge ourselves to grow,” said Brian Funkhouser, President/CEO of BH.
Throughout his career, Mr. Loercher has specialized in turning client’s visions into extraordinary architecture by collaborating with leaders of public and private organizations, helping them articulate their goals, and following through with design solutions to bring their missions to life.
Loercher holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Temple University and is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He is a licensed architect in Pennsylvania and three other states.
