Shane Groff has joined our York Architectural Group as a BIM Coordinator. Shane has worked in the architectural field for more than 18 years and has acquired experience in all phases of design and construction and enjoys customizing and improving CADD and BIM environments to increase efficiency and user comfort.
Shane began his career designing stages in the music industry. He has worked for architectural, A/E, and general contracting firms; instructed AutoCAD and Revit courses at Harrisburg Area Community College’s Lancaster campus; and led his own consulting business. He has completed a significant amount of work toward his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Drexel University.
Shane has two daughters, Elle and Lilly, and a two-year-old yellow labrador/border collie mix named Tucker. Shane enjoys spending a lot of time camping along the Susquehanna River and traveling to the beach. He enjoys involving himself with community projects whenever possible as a way to give back. His most recent volunteer project was the Buddy Bench, an idea inspired by a local student to combat bullying, eliminate loneliness, and foster friendship on the playground, for Lincoln Charter School in York, PA.
