Three Buchart Horn Associates Earn Professional Engineer Designation

The Buchart Horn team continues to get stronger.

Three of our associates recently passed the professional engineering exam and now hold the title of Licensed Professional Engineer.

Wastewater Engineer S. Deepthi Kalyanam passed the Maryland state exam, while Electrical Engineer Hoang “Henry” Nguyen and Transportation Engineer Kendall J. Eberhardt both passed the Pennsylvania state exam, in earning their P.E. designation.

Deepthi has nearly 10 years’ experience in management of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including planning, permitting, design, construction administration, and project financing.

After earning her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in India, Deepthi earned her master’s degree in water resources and environmental engineering from Villanova University. She works out of our York, PA, office.

Henry earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering, with a focus on electrical engineering, from the University of Pittsburgh and is located at our Pittsburgh office. He has provided electrical engineering guidance and support on a range of projects – from K-8 schools and roadway lighting systems to water supply systems and sanitary sewage pump stations – throughout the East Coast.

Kendall is a bridge engineer with experience in prestressed concrete, steel, reinforced concrete and timber design, as well as hydraulic design. He also has experience inspecting many single span and multi-span structure types.

He is a 2008 graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with a focus on structures. He specializes in the transportation sector and heads up our new King of Prussia office.
