Buchart Horn is pleased to welcome Mr. Caldwell Joy, PE, to our Transportation Group in our Baton Rouge, LA office as a Senior Transportation Engineer. A 2012 graduate of the University of Alabama’s Civil Engineering program, Cal has obtained his PE license in the state of Louisiana. He brings over nine years of progressive experience in civil and transportation engineering and design, as well as previous offshore oilfield leadership.
His professional background includes serving clients such as Louisiana DOTD as lead engineer and design engineer on many transportation projects involving roundabouts, traffic studies, sidewalks, drainage, signage, and striping. Cal is passionate about transportation infrastructure and motivated to grow his skills as an engineer while continuing to build long-term client relationships.
Outside of work, Cal plays competitive beach volleyball across the southeast, as well as basketball, golf, and tennis. On weekends, Cal likes to relax on his front porch enjoying the pleasant morning weather.
