As CEO of BH, Mr. Funkhouser drives the firm’s mission, vision and overall strategic direction providing high-quality, responsive engineering and architectural services to a range of governmental, industrial, institutional, commercial, and private clients. Mr. Funkhouser previously served as President and CEO, and prior to that, served three years as the Senior Vice President of PACE Resources, Inc., BH’s parent company.
During his 35+ year career with BH and PACE, Mr. Funkhouser led the firm’s environmental group and was responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars of water and wastewater system design projects, including efforts to improve water quality throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
Mr. Funkhouser holds a Bachelor of Science in Water Resources Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
